I’m sick of Jesus being used as a means to make someone feel cooler, sexier, funnier, or whatever. I can take a joke. I’m not irrational about people’s acceptance or disapproval of religion/faith. It just seems like Jesus has been everywhere lately… in all the wrong ways.

Oh but it is soooooo much more complicated than that. Care to define “wrong” for me there? Who constituted the correct expression of faith and the incorrect expression of faith. The pope?

As a Muslim, I don’t believe in books with God’s name being on the floor. It’s a disrespectful place and it’s at the same level of our feet. So this is offensive even to me. Forget the Pope, it’s common sense, why is something that is suppose to be Jesus Christ under your foot?

This is so wrong.

Completely agree with pretty much everything said here. This is disgusting.

I think it’s beautiful, it’s taking fashion to a whole new level of expression. I’m not one for being intolerant to other religions, but while looking at this you’re only deriving one of many expressions, open your mind, this one pair of shoes could mean anything. I’d prefer to see it as Jesus holding you up, helping you walk taller and stronger
